Our client Atlas Air came to Nadel with the goal of merchandising a range of custom designed bestseller staples that could be purchased across departments company wide. From elevated Atlas Air merch to a celebratory 747 campaign, Nadel delivered everything the Atlas team needed.

THE CHALLENGE

Atlas Air was looking for everything from custom PMS matched bags, to custom "all over printed patterns", to unique decorations to help tell their brand story. Every product needed to be designed exclusively for Atlas Air. For example, showcased above is an elevated gift box with custom print on the exterior that includes two pilot epaulets and a pilot wing badge.

THE PROCESS

We started with reviewing the Atlas Air brand guidelines, and presented our ideas to the team. After a few rounds of brainstorming, we were off and ready to lead the way in getting each project completed. From general Atlas Air merch to a suite of products that honored the historical significance of the last "Queen of the Skies" Boeing 747, we came up with lots of fun and on-brand merchandise that internal teams would be proud to wear and represent. The iconic "Queen of the Skies" t-shirts seen below even required a specialty decorator to do the oversized and details imprint.

THE RESULTS

The gear turned out amazing! The client was pleased and proud. We were also able to deliver the 747 Collection ahead of when the last ever, brand new "Queen of the Skies" 747 departed from Paine Field (PAE) in Everett, Washington, and landed at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). Long live the Queen of the Skies!
